Hello everyone!
Again a longer break since the last post. I have been painting and assembling some minis for my Afghan Project (Sikh's, Jacob's Rifles and some new units of regular Afghan Army), but nothing completed yet. Also as the summer started and with very high temperatures outside I was mostly too tired to finish anything. And the paint dried on the brush in between the painting palette and the minis... :-) I have to make a note to finally try out the method of the wet palett!
On the other hand as most of my friends either healed of Covid or got their vaccinations we started to meet again in our club and managed to do four games of Bolt Action in a row. These were all Northern Africa settings - first three DAK and Vichy vs Commonwealth and the last game we swapped sides a bit and it was DAK vs British and Free French. Very fun games of 2000pts per side (1000pts platoon per player). We enjoyed it very much (it was good to refresh the rules after a long break) and plan to do more of it after summer. Maybe a little campaign?

Znowu była dłuższa przerwa od ostatniego posta. W międzyczasie malowałem i składałem figurki do mojego projektu afgańskiego (Sikhów, Jacob's Rifles i kilka nowych jednostek regularnej armii afgańskiej), ale nic jeszcze nie zostało skończone. Gdy zaczęło się lato i przy bardzo wysokich temperaturach na zewnątrz, byłem zwykle zbyt zmęczony wieczorami, aby cokolwiek dokończyć, a farba wysychała na pędzlu pomiędzy paletą a figurkami ;-) Muszę w końcu wypróbować malowanie metodą mokrej palety!
No ale ponieważ większość moich klubowych kolegów jest covidowymi ozdrowieńcami, lub się zaszczepiła, zaczęliśmy spotykać się ponownie w naszym klubie. Udało się nam rozegrać cztery gry w Bolt Action z rzędu. Wszystkie gry toczyły się Afryce Północnej – pierwsze trzy DAK i Vichy vs Commonwealth, a ostatnia gra, w której trochę zamieniliśmy strony: DAK vs Brytyjczycy i Wolni Francuzi. Bardzo fajne gry po 2000 punktów na stronę (1000 punktów na pluton / na gracza). Bardzo nam się podobało (fajnie było sobie przypomnieć zasady po długiej przerwie) i planujemy zrobić więcej po wakacjach. Może będzie mała kampania?
